Jackson Philip Caumiant Devereux (b.1990) is an Australian-American documentarian that has been based in New York since 2015, gaining an Emmy nomination, a RFK Journalism award, an AAFCA award and several premieres at world-leading festivals, including Tribeca, DOC NYC and CIFF. His character focused films often expose varying social issues and the consequent undercurrents rippling through the modern American landscape. His methodology draws from the observational style and his work driven by a desire to understand the continuum of our shared human existence, entirely fascinated by the choices of others along their similar and yet so distant journey of life.
